I wish the day when SQU provide its summer courses through the using of
E- Learning.
I mean instead of coming to SQU daily routine during the hot summer semester, SQU can make use of E-learning in a way that gives the students more flexibility not to attend every single lecture, but instead attend the crucial ones and the tests.
What do you think?

I hope so, but don't you think that Omani students still don't know the real meaning of E-learning?
ReplyDeleteI mean, you can see now that whenever teachers ask us to use moodle, for example, students become lazy and delay their work. Also, It will not be fair as not all Omani students have internet access in their hometown.

Yes, it is a good idea Jalal. I wish if the University does that, it would be better, cost-effective and practical. I mean by cost-effective in terms of time. Students do not have to come to SQU daily.

For example, it is crucial for students because it will save time. In other words, students do not have to come to SQU daily. It is also beneficial for adminstrators. For instance, adminstrators will have to send materials to their students online

ReplyDeleteYes, very triggering it would be if we attend some classes online. Yet, I believe this might create some kind of mess!
You know, for example, X student attended the class yesterday, but today he/she is attending online, and tomorrow might be in the class and might be online, so on and so forth!!
I think setting a certain strategy, which has such a statement as: having X number of hours online, and the rest in-class, is good to make your idea very much applicable.
Anyway, I enjoyed your opinions, so creative you are.
